Osseo Group supports students and the future of dentistry, so we love attending all the events and activities hosted by the La Trobe University BOHDS- Bendigo Oral Health and Dentistry Society!
BOHDS events are fun, social, and interactive, allowing the students to network and create amazing friendships as they endeavour through their chosen career.
In the past, Osseo Group has supported BOHDS by attending their annual Loupes Festival and social events such as the Pool Party. We feel honoured to be included in such a great group!
Starting off this year and two of our Victorian superstars attended the Annual Pool Party, held at Brennan Park in Bendigo. A lovely country city and a scenic route ensued.
The day was perfect for such an event, with not a cloud in the sky and the sun shining well into the evening. Bring out the shorts and flip flops!
Water pistols, beach balls and the smell of sizzling sausages encouraged all the students to relax and take a break from the hectic schedule of study, and they were more than happy to accommodate us and make our team feel welcome. Many photos were taken and jumping in the pool was a requirement. Or maybe just dipping your toes!
This year, Osseo Group showcased the Pentax Loupes to the students, talking all points about the importance of posture and ergonomic health. Trying them on and seeing the benefits for themselves ended with gasps of surprise and amazement at how they were standing with an upright posture and were not bending their neck or back.
Many comments were made about Pentax being an incredible set of Loupes that will help their neck and back health long term, and well into their long careers. Did someone say an early Christmas present?
One of the students and our great friend, who is the new Student Representative of the BOHDS group, has purchased a set of Pentax Loupes and absolutely loves them. Her friends were commenting on how great her posture is compared to everyone else, and we couldn’t keep her away from the loupes if we tried. Given her enthusiasm and love of the Pentax, we may need to offer her a marketing job…
This passion goes to show that the Pentax Loupes are beneficial to all Dentists, whether they are just starting out or have been in the industry for a long time.
With the BOHDS Loupes Festival coming up in a few weeks, we are so excited to be invited to this great showcase of the available loupes in the market.
