Held at the Sofitel Brisbane on 27th August 2022, this one-day workshop is fast-paced, thorough and perfect for anyone who wants to get up to speed with small diameter implants. You will be shown through how the C-TECH small diameter implant system works including case selection, treatment planning, impressioning techniques, how to place implants, tips, tricks & mid-treatment corrections and troubleshooting.
Held in two parts, the morning session Is held in a classroom-style setting surgical and restorative protocols are demonstrated through case slide presentations.
The afternoon session is hands-on surgical and impressioning procedures using pig jaws and typodonts.
OUR SPEAKER
Keith Doonan qualified from the Royal London Hospital Dental College in 1993 and attained his M.Clin.Dent(Pros) in 2006 from Kings College London. Since qualifying he has worked in the UK, Spain and Australia and has now settled in general practice in Maleny on the Sunshine Coast with a special interest in Implants and Prosthodontics and digital dentistry with experience in 3D printing, Exocad software and wet / dry milling.
He has been running live implants courses with small groups of dentists over the last 14 years, has worked for 10 years with Dental protection as a communication skills expert, has worked on the site evaluation teams for the Australian Dental Council and has presented many courses on Prosthodontics, Implants and communication skills since 2006. He also has an advance diploma in stage and screen acting and has experience in acting and stand up comedy. He is also quite tall.
