Connecting Your Printer or Mill to a PC.

Your PC and printer or mill must be on the same local network and IP subnet. Wired and wireless connections can be mixed, provided the devices can communicate freely with each other and have internet access. PC host and printer or mill management is handled through AWS and or Alibaba Cloud.
For example, with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0:
PC IP address | Printer or mill IP address | Result |
10.0.0.2 | 10.0.0.3 | Working: both devices are on the same subnet. |
10.0.0.2 | 192.168.1.2 | Not working without additional routing: the devices are on different subnets. |
Your IT company is soley responsible for providing this network environment. Osseo Group cannot make these changes for you. Until it is set up, you may use a mobile phone hotspot, provided all devices can connect to it. The P55D and P53DC have no wireless capability, so they may require additional networking hardware and routing to use a hotspot.
Copy and paste this request to your IT company:
Please configure our PC and printer / mill on the same local network and IP subnet. The devices need unrestricted, two-way communication with each other and internet access for management through AWS and or Alibaba Cloud. A mix of wired and wireless connections is acceptable. Please check that firewall rules, network isolation or other restrictions do not block the required connections.
A clinic’s network supports many interconnected systems, each with its own security settings and requirements. For that reason, network configuration is managed by your IT company, which can make the necessary changes without disrupting other services.
Network configuration falls outside Osseo Group’s scope, but the copy-and-paste request above provides the information your IT company needs to complete the task. If they would like to discuss the specific requirements, please ask them to call us on 1300 029 383.
