SHINING EDGE Sydney 2026 Celebrates Innovation, Education and Excellence in Digital Dentistry

The inaugural SHINING EDGE Sydney 2026 brought together clinicians, dental technicians, industry experts and digital dentistry innovators from across Australia and around the world for a day of learning, collaboration and friendship at Hilton Sydney.
As part of SHINING 3D Dental's global SHINING EDGE series, the event gave dental professionals the opportunity to connect, exchange ideas and see first-hand how digital technologies are continuing to transform the way dentistry is delivered.
Throughout the day, delegates enjoyed a strong scientific programme covering full-arch rehabilitation, digital treatment planning, intraoral photogrammetry, facial scanning and advanced 3D printing workflows. Presentations from internationally recognised speakers demonstrated how digital technologies are helping clinicians improve treatment predictability, streamline workflows and ultimately deliver better outcomes for patients.
Just as valuable as the presentations themselves were the conversations taking place between sessions. SHINING EDGE Sydney provided an opportunity for clinicians, technicians and industry partners to reconnect with old friends, make new connections and share experiences with others who are passionate about digital dentistry. The enthusiasm throughout the day highlighted just how rapidly digital workflows are being embraced across Australia and New Zealand.
One of the highlights of the evening was the SHINING 3D Partner Awards presentation, where Osseo Group was once again recognised for its contribution to the growth of the SHINING 3D Dental brand throughout Australia and New Zealand.
For the second consecutive year, Osseo Group was awarded Platinum Dealer Status, recognising the team's commitment to education, customer support and helping practices successfully adopt digital workflows.
The award also marked another milestone in a relationship that now spans more than 11 years. Since partnering with SHINING 3D, Osseo Group has worked closely with the company to introduce new technologies, provide hands-on training and support thousands of customers across Australia and New Zealand.
The evening also brought personal recognition with the presentation of the Expert Service Award. The award is particularly notable as it makes Stuart Anderton the only external partner Application Engineer worldwide to receive SHINING 3D Dental's Expert Service Award, recognising outstanding technical expertise, clinical education and customer support.
For me personally, the award represents more than a decade spent working alongside clinicians and laboratories, providing training, solving problems and helping practices get the most from their investment in digital dentistry. To receive this recognition from a company that Osseo Group has proudly partnered with for the past 11 years makes the honour even more meaningful.
