Choosing the Right SHINING 3D Printer for Your Business

Choose your 3D printer around the appliances and restorations you want to produce, the number of cases you handle and how printing will fit into your working day.
The AccuFab-Aris provides a compact starting point for everyday clinical printing. The AccuFab-F1 suits businesses prioritising speed and demanding restorative materials. The AccuFab-CEL offers a larger platform for batch production. The Ceramix-Nano provides a dedicated capsule workflow for chairside restorations.
Printer | Technology | Printing capacity | Main reason to choose it |
AccuFab-Aris | LCD | 130 × 80 x 75 mm build volume | Compact everyday printing for a clinic bringing production in-house |
AccuFab-F1 | DLP | 144 × 81 × 75 mm build volume | Fast production with heated platform and resin tank for demanding materials |
AccuFab-CEL | LCD | 192 × 120 × 180 mm build volume, with a smaller 70 × 70 x 180 mm platform option | Larger batches and taller prints across a broad range of dental applications |
Ceramix-Nano | DLP with adaptive pneumatic separation | Up to three crowns per capsule; bridges up to 17 x 38 mm long | Chairside restorative printing using pre-measured material capsules and integrated curing |
AccuFab-Aris for everyday clinical printing
The Aris is a practical choice for a clinic introducing 3D printing or adding a compact printer for routine work. Its supported applications include models, surgical guides, splints, dentures and restorations, using suitable materials and printing parameters.
Its 130 × 80 mm platform suits smaller batches. Automatic levelling, a build platform maintained at 30 °C and a quick-release LCD screen simplify setup and maintenance.
Choose the Aris when your workload fits its platform and you want a straightforward way to bring everyday printing into the practice.

AccuFab-F1 for speed and demanding restorative materials
The F1 is the choice when fast turnaround and handling more demanding resins are priorities. Its DLP optical system is paired with heating for both the build platform and resin tank, helping maintain resin flow when working with highly viscous, ceramic-filled restorative materials.
Applications include crowns, splints, surgical guides, models, denture bases and All-on-X work, subject to the selected material’s supported indications.
Its 144 × 81 × 75 mm build volume suits work that fits within a relatively shallow printing height. Check the height of vertically orientated appliances and their supports when planning production.
Choose the F1 when your material requirements and turnaround times justify a printer built around fast, temperature-controlled production.

AccuFab-CEL for larger batches and taller prints
The CEL is a practical choice for clinics and laboratories producing several cases together. Its 192 × 120 mm platform provides more room for nesting parts, while its 180 mm build height accommodates taller print arrangements.
A smaller 70 × 70 mm platform option provides flexibility for smaller jobs. The printer also monitors chamber temperature and humidity and provides chamber heating to support consistent printing conditions.
Choose the CEL when you regularly fill a larger platform with models, guides, splints or denture work. Its main advantage in this comparison is the combination of platform area and build height, allowing more work to be grouped into each suitable batch.

Ceramix-Nano for chairside restorative printing
The Ceramix-Nano suits a practice focused on producing individual restorations during an appointment. Its pre-measured LumiCera capsules support up to three crowns per capsule, with applications including crowns, three-unit bridges, veneers, inlays and onlays.
The compact 2 kg unit combines printing and curing. SHINING 3D quotes approximately 8–11 minutes to print a single crown and approximately three minutes for curing. Scanning, design, cleaning, finishing and clinical procedures require additional time.
LumiCera is a highly filled restorative resin. Select it according to its material indications and processing instructions.
Choose the Ceramix-Nano when you want a dedicated restorative workflow. It can also complement an Aris, F1 or CEL, allowing routine appliance production to continue while the Nano handles chairside restorations.

Why the fastest print may not deliver the most daily output
A larger platform can be more useful than a shorter individual print time when you have several cases ready in the same material. A smaller, dedicated printer can be more useful when an urgent restoration would otherwise interrupt a production batch.
Compare the time from a finished design to an appliance ready for use. Include preparation, printing, washing, curing, support removal and finishing, together with the staff time required at each stage.
Before choosing, confirm that your intended material has a supported workflow for the printer and the required washing and curing equipment. Material compatibility should be checked for the specific application you plan to produce.
Which printer should you choose?
Choose the Aris for compact, everyday clinical printing in smaller batches, the F1 for fast turnaround with demanding restorative resins, the CEL for larger batches and taller prints, or the Ceramix-Nano for capsule-based chairside restorations with integrated curing.
